I used to read a lot of online comics, and those comics are actually one of the main reasons why I’m currently writing and drawing Daisy and Gatz. It was really interesting to watch them grow as artists and storytellers through the online medium, and it’s something that I hope will happen to me.
Anyway, I’m saying this because I tried out a sharpie for today’s strip, and I’m thinking … no. But what is fun for me is that I finally understand why so many online comics have that sketchy quality: A regular ink pen just looks like a pencil on a digital screen. So, my adventures in finding better pens will have to continue.
As far as I’m currently aware, this is the end of Gatz’s interview. For next week, this is what I have planned:
- Publishers
- A new plot development!
Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next week!
